Paradise sidetracked

At lunch yesterday ran the same Paradise trail route, but right before the climb starts I turned up a unlabeled trail. The stupid thing petered out and I ended up hiking thru the weeds to a pass between 2 hills, with more 100 hills houses on the other side. About 3 miles total.
